The Art of The Interview
An interview is often essential to nonfiction filmmaking and journalism. When speaking to someone, the questions we ask can dramatically shape the conversation, and in turn, the outcome of the project.
Here are some questions that we'll explore in addition to the traditional interview format:
How do we communicate with each other in everyday life?
How can conversation build community?
How can we recognize our own biases?
How do we justly facilitate and represent the words of others?
How can communication be radical?
How does documentation and testimony allow us to build a better world?
