TELLING TRUE STORIES:
MOTH STORYTELLING 101
The Moth is an international, critically acclaimed performing arts organization that’s all about true stories, told live. In this presentation and mini-workshop, students will learn from Moth storytellers and experts about telling true, personal stories: how to tell a great story and how to think of a story to tell. We’ll talk about ways that storytelling can make other art forms (like dance, film, even visual arts) even better—and make your life just a little bit better, too. You’ll leave with ideas for your own stories, tools for excellent performances, and a new way of listening to other people.
