SOMETHING FROM NOTHING

How do you create a theatre piece when you don’t know where to
begin? Come ready to play and we will get you on the road to creating something from nothing.
Using imagery, teamwork/community and sound/movement, we will begin to develop a work in
progress to bring out your voice/perspective on “A Civil Society”.
Participants should bring: Notebook or Paper, a Writing Instrument, and a Willingness to Play

Kat Puma is an actress and teaching artist. She has performed across the country, and as far away as Tokyo, Japan, appearing on stage, film and television, including Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Classic Stage Company, The Acting Company, Law & Order SVU/CI/TBJ, and is currently part of the company of actors for pod series "Uncanny County"  As a teaching artist, she has developed Shakespeare programs for K-8 students, devised & developed performance pieces, and it currently teaching acting at NYCDA in NYC.
