Queer Voices of Change: Stories for the Stage

Celebrating LGBTQIA+ Youth Leadership Through the Arts
A new initiative from Stage the Change launching Spring 2026

The Challenge
LGBTQIA+ youth remain underrepresented in classroom materials, historical narratives, and public life. Many struggle to find community or feel safe being visible at school. Their voices deserve to be heard, their stories seen, and their lived experiences honored.

The Vision
Queer Voices of Change helps LGBTQIA+ students, young artists, activists, and allies tell their stories, advocate for inclusion, build community, and lead with confidence. Through storytelling, playwriting, and performance, participants transform personal truth into meaningful impact.
